No, I haven't gotten completely bananas, but -ikons are a regular feature here in Switzerland. And I know, they cannot even spell it properly. These are the -ikons I come across on a regular basis:

and if you're not confused enough there is also Dietikon and Dietlikon! And this is only in the neighbourhood of Zürich! Imagine the rest...
