UK phone call

At 2.28 on Saturday morning at had a phone call to my landline. I wasn't home, but the number got registered. Now, how do I find out who tried to call me? I googled, and couldn't find a phone book where you can enter the tel number and get a name. Plenty of sites provide you with the search the other way around (put in a name, a street No, whatever and get a tel number), or they require you to pay.

Who would phone me (not a number I know, since I checked my friends) in the middle of the night? Wrong number? Probably. But still...could it have been a phone call I wanted to take? Stupid, huh?
